Trade Show Graphics a Hit!

I want to thank you and your team for the great work that was done for us in getting our products launched at Medtrade.

The show went wonderful! Couldn't have gotten a better reception. There was a lot of buzz about us, and the great booth, sales literature, packaging mock-ups, product branding, and other graphics did a lot to create that. I had a marketer for a competitor come to the booth and she asked me if we'd been at the show before, in that tone of voice that said "where did you people come from?" We definitely did not look like a start-up.

Also had many sales reps coming over to ask to be our rep, which shows the excitement we generated. Had non-stop traffic at the booth for almost the whole 3 days.

Please pass on my thoughts and congratulations to your team for their help and work in making the show the great success it was for us. Especially your Graphic Artist, who I know worked many late hours to help put everything together. Our thanks to him, you, Scott, and everyone else for the great work.

With minimal input from us, Vision Stream produced a design exactly right for our image in the hi-tech metalworking industry. I expect perfection. There can be no errors, no matter how many projects are going on at one time and no matter how many of my staff are involved in each project. I expect Vision Stream to catch any discrepancies between the advertising for the 3 locations and to be sure all requests are approved in budget, design, and consistency. Obviously, to run 3 large restaurants with 6 bars, I don't have the time to micro manage so I must demand this from my advertising agency.

Vision Stream has been able to successfully and creatively produce everything our advertising had demanded. Scott Davidson manages and negotiates ad placement in magazines, transit, outdoor, newspapers, radio, television and event promotion. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to continue the list. If it's says Kildare's, Vision Stream produced it. There are 2 of thier qualities I most appreciate (the rest I expect,) the first is that someone can be reached at anytime, day or night, including weekends - as you can expect, we need this in my business; and the second is that we can ask for something and in most cases get it the same day and without additional charge.

Their pricing is extremely reasonable. Other agencies are charging upwards of $125/hour; Vision Stream rates are between $25 - $45 per hour. I've even put some of my staff on print pricing research and Vision Stream remains competitive.

In 2001, we were charged by our client, Markel Corporation in Norristown, Pennsylvania, to help them produce an interactive presentation marketing their capabilities to prospective new clients. Markel designs and manufactures engineered fluoropolymer products for a wide range of end uses in markets including the automotive, aerospace, telecommunications and water purification industries. Their strengths lie in the custom design and development of proprietary fluoropolymer plastics solutions to fairly demanding and esoteric applications...a task more difficult than simply showing manufacturing equipment in a plant. We called Karin and her staff to help us develop a virtual tour of the clients facilities with a focus on the breadth of their design capabilities deliverable on CD-ROM.

From initial concept development to scripting through finished production, Karin and her staff provided invaluable input. They interviewed key personnel in a number of departments to learn the client's business, goals and objectives. They toured the plant with an eye on developing the most compelling visual story while developing a script to communicate exactly the story the client needed to tell. They were expert a coordinating a demanding shooting schedule within a very busy manufacturing facility so that they did not have to disrupt crucial manufacturing to get the footage they needed to tell the story. The creativity they brought to the editing and post production process resulted in an interactive presentation that not only pleased the client, but resulted in a marketing vehicle that is in the third reprint due to demand by Markel field sales, distributors and prospects. In fact, the work was awarded a 2001 Telly Award for its excellence. While it is hard to quantify the resultant growth in Markel's business as a result of their work, I can report that shortly after the interactive presentation was published, Markel successfully gained entry into the water purification industry with some of their proprietary products resulting in significant increased sales volume. Our experience with Karin and her talented staff was a pleasure, resulting in one of the most effective marketing pieces we have ever produced for Markel in the fifteen plus years we have worked with them. We highly recommend their services to anyone for whom innovative and effective marketing is a primary consideration.
